MICHAEL ABAD

PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER

Michael Abad returns for his third season as the Public Address Announcer for the Phoenix RoadRunners.  Prior to the NHL lockout, Michael spent 1999-2005 as the Phoenix Coyotes Public Address announcer and radio/television commercial voice.  While away from the rink, Michael's full time job is in radio broadcasting beginning in Detroit over 20 years ago and currently with 100.7 KSLX Classic Rock as the station’s Production/Imaging Director for the past 10 years. He also spent 1990-1997 as an on-air personality with 98 KUPD. 

A 43-year-old native of the Detroit area, Michael has called Phoenix home since 1987, but is still an avid Red Wings and Michigan Wolverines fan and now of course, a RoadRunners’ fan!  Michael currently resides in Phoenix with his dog Rio and cat Scudder.
